What a day!!!

What a day!!! Saw around 40 Hobby, 20 Sparrowhawk, Rough Legged and Common Buzzard plus a pair of White-tailed Eagle flew right over my head. Cuckoo in grey and brown morph. Added to this the Whiskered Tern have returned in big numbers. I also saw Collared Flycatcher, my first Oriole of the year, good close views of Glossy Ibis feeding, Gadwall, and what I am 99% sure was Marsh Sandpiper, will be going back to check that one later. Saw most of the usual suspects for here too. What a day!! Oh and I located the tree where our guest Jochen saw Wildcat last week, so will be staking that spot out regularly. For those who missed the Wildcat pic, here it is again.

Thanks to all the volunteers for their participation and also to our guests Ward and Jill for their kind donation that covered the costs of gloves, bags and refreshments.
