Some different guests this month...

Tree maintenance

A small group of us went early today to check upon the trees that we planted for Earth Day way back in April this year..






The weather has been unusually hot and dry and even though we have been regularly weeding and watering them some of them have not survived....





But we weeded and watered them all again and we have 14 strong trees and in the Autumn we will replant and try again......

Nature walk & waste collection

Today we had the pleasure of taking a walk with a large group of home-schooled children from Bulgaria,Romania,Hungary & the USA......

















Kolyo Mihov from the Bulgarian Accademy of Science kindly joined us to share his
knowledge........



















........we had some great views of the Pelicans.........

















....took only photographs and memories....







.....did some rubbish collecting along the way..........























...then we had some well deserved refreshments!
