We live at the Pelican Lake Guesthouse & Environmental Project Centre Srebarna, adjacent to the Biosphere Reserve in North East Bulgaria. We provide regular updates on our project work and reports on activity on the reserve. We co-operate closely with a number of other conservation organisations to ensure a sustainable future for wildlife and the environment. Dalmatian Pelicans Return

We missed the return of the Pelicans this year as we were in Cuba, more news and pics about that soon, The date was March 2nd according to the team at RIEW. There are now around 30 pairs with more expected to arrive soon. Conditions are ideal for this years breeding colony as the water level in the lake is very high and water is flooding in directly from the Danube bringing with it new stocks of fish.
